To better enjoy the essence of the city of Bosa, the advice is to explore the labyrinth of medieval streets of the historic center, which emphasize the rich heritage of this place.
The neighborhood, known as Sa Costa, is full of walkways and facades painted in happy pastel colors that evoke images of another era.
Sa Piatta instead is the flat and more modern part where you can admire beautiful XVIII century buildings such as Palazzo Don Carlos and Casa Deriu.
They are transformed into a museum Commonly known as the Malaspina Castle, it was built starting in 1112 by the Tuscan marquises to defend himself from assaults.
There are still studies and archaeological excavations in progress to clearly define the phases of the different plants.
The large walled enclosure that includes the seven towers and encloses the Church of Our Lady of Sos Regnos Altos are its main features.
The church was built in 1300 and during one of its restorations were found frescoes belonging to the XIV century, unique in Sardinia.
Renowned for the quality of the oil, the wines especially the Malvasia.
