If you are in a wheelchair and you are considering a holiday in Italy you must contact Vincenzo, aka Enzo.
With his help, my girlfriend Corrin and I managed a one month holiday traveling all the way from New Zealand.
As I am a C4/5 tetraplegic, it was important for us to have a reliable professional contact in Italy.
Enzo was the perfect man for the job.
He shows true empathy and takes genuine pride in his work.
This was first demonstrated with an immediate phone call following our initial email – something that was absent with other companies we had tried!
Enzo helped us organize hotels, transport and equipment.
He was always professional, reliable, and practical. We started with 4 wonderful days in Rome, after which Enzo took us to San Quirico D’Orcia in Tuscany where we stayed for 3 weeks.
This was followed by 4 more wonderful days in Rome before flying home.
Enzo ensured we were comfortable at all times, and that our accommodation and equipment ( like our hoist and rental car – the wonderful Fiat Diablo! ) was ok.
He relieved our stress by not only picking us up at the airport, but also through little things such as pushing me around Rome so Corrin could relax and take in the sights.
He made it a holiday for both of us. He went out of his way to help us do things we wanted to do.
A prime example is when he traveled overnight to Genoa to collect a wheelchair accessible van with a hoist for us.
This allowed us to be independent and explore Tuscany at our own pace.
I would not hesitate to recommend Enzo to anyone or use him again for future travels.
I am paralyzed from my shoulders down and a holiday like this needs careful planning and consideration.
Vincenzo is a man who knows this and combines a professional attitude with a focus on enjoying your holiday in Italy.
I have included notes below concerning the accessibility of the towns and places we visited.
Enzo – We Love You!
